We didn't grow up farming, but we chose to be farmers.

Between the two of us, we carry the energy of Los Angeles and Chicago, cities that don't slow down, don't ask you to pause, and don't leave much room to wonder what else life could look like.

We were raised to be busy and ambitious, and for a long time, that was enough. We studied at the nation’s top universities, successfully started a national organization, and intentionally gave back to our communities.

But as we grew, so did the questions.

What does it mean to build something tangible with your hands? To know where your food comes from? To be genuinely rooted in a place and the people around it?

We started asking ourselves how we could live slower, build more intentionally, grow real food, and create experiences that actually served our community, not just our schedules.

We’re fortunate that Charles County has given us the space to explore and find out.

This farm, our farm, is what we've built from that chance.

Not overnight. Not without hard lessons.

But with intention, with care, and with the deep belief that the best things take time.
